Know Your Business Associates: Apparently, Kaiser Permanente in California hired a company called Sure File Filing Systems to store some medical records.  Apparently, Sure File was a true mom-and-pop operation, with a husband and wife storing the records in a warehouse they shared with a party rental business.  Apparently, the co-tenant kept his car there as well.  Kaiser didn't have a contract in place with Sure File, and obviously didn't have a BAA in place either.  There's no apparent accusation of a data breach occurring, but Kaiser's likely facing a fine for not ensuring the data was protected.
