University of Miami: Two employees have been fired by UM Hospital for allegedly stealing patient information. Apparently they copied face sheets, which contained patient identifying information, including insurance policy numbers; only the last 4 digits of the patient's social security number was included, but apparently some insurers use SSN for insurance policy numbers, so the fact that the insurance policy number was included could be an identity-theft problem.

UPDATE: Modern Healthcare picks up the story.
