EHRs and Privacy: the Wall Street Journal has an
article and a poll about public perceptions of electronic health records and related privacy concerns. I've stated often enough that EHRs would be as ubiquitous as iPods if it weren't for the potential privacy concerns. As with most situations where technology and health information collide, there are benefits and risks on both sides, and compromises must be made.
