A group of employees at EMC Corp in Massachusetts are going to work with Partners Health to see if they can use on-line communications
to improve employee health. They're targeting workers with high blood pressure for twice-weekly testing on elcectonic sphagmometers that will transmit the information over the internet. Nothing that couldn't be done without computers, but perhaps the computer/internet patina will speed the process and make it easier.
Not exactly on topic, but it does raise HIPAA questions.
