New Technology, New Worries: Have you given any thought to who might be taking pictures or video of patients and staff within a hospital? If someone walked into the hospital with one of those old, TV-camera-sized camcorders on his shoulder, you'd know to stop him from recording without the permission of the recordees (patients or staff). With cell phones that capture still pictures or even video, just about anyone can be that cameraman, and you won't necessarily know it. Hospitals should be aware of this, and make sure their privacy policies address it.
