Just a reminder of the July 1 deadline:
AMA News has an article
warning doctors that they'll suffer the delay in payment for non-HIPAA-compliant claims that their billing company screws up. Now would be a good time to double-check your billing company and your billing software to make sure you are submitting 837s that have all the right information in all the right places. Time is money, and you don't want your reimbursements delayed if you can help it.
